I teach creative workshops to adults and children all over the UK.
Here are a few examples! Most recently I have been working with Stella Artois and CASS Art Glasgow, running modern watercolour and calligraphy hand-lettering workshops using their Tombow ABT brush markers. More information and how to book below.
Art Workshops for Children
In 2016 I set up children's creative art and movement workshops alongside choreographer Chloë Smith, in Berwick upon Tweed. They're called Making and Moving.
We are still running workshops during most school holidays, as well as setting up an Arts festival for children in Berwick Upon Tweed. Watch this space!
Would you like a workshop at your festival or event?
For children and adults, workshops and live illustration are a great way to get people to engage, interact and have fun.
i've run workshops for Berwick Film and Media Arts Festival, several food festivals, seaside festivals and more.
Last summer I taught two workshops at CASS Art, Glasgow. These sessions were taught using the Japanese Tombow ABT Brush markers, which can be used in a watercolour style, or to create beautiful brush lettering.
At the moment I don't have any workshops for grown ups planned, but you can sign up to my email newsletter to make sure you're the first to hear of any new ones!
I have given talks at Creative Careers week at BALTIC Centre for Contemporary art in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
In the past I have given talks on what it's like to be an illustrator, my progression through school, higher education and further education, and staying inspired.
